NAPCRG membership provides mentoring and networking activities, monthly newsletters to keep you updated on the happenings in the primary care research community, and the programs and resources needed for your professional growth. Memberships run the calendar year, from October 1 to September 30.
Other Primary Care Researcher
$335 / Annually
Any individual who is in a research or academic position who does not give direct patient care. Roles include: Physicians spending less than 50% patient care, Professors, Program Directors, Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Research coordinators.
Fellow
$115 / Annually
Any fellow-in-training in an approved primary care/family medicine program, department, or medical school.
Resident
$70 / Annually
Any resident in an approved primary care/family medicine residency program.
Graduate Student with Terminal Degree
$45 / Annually
This category of membership is designed for full time graduate students (currently taking 9 credit hours) who hold a terminal degree (PhD, MD, EdD, DVM, DrPH, etc).
Student
$25 / Annually
This category of membership is designed for full-time students enrolled in at least 12 concurrent credit hours per semester (or 9 hours for graduate students) of a health-related training program. Individuals with full-time employment and/or a terminal degree are not eligible for student membership.
Patient/Community
$25 / Annually
This category of membership is designed for patients or community members whose main line of work/study is not primary care, research, or other health related field.
Lifetime Membership
$1500 / one time fee
NAPCRG offers Lifetime Membership for members who are age 60+. This category provides full membership—for a lifetime—with voting rights. The one-time membership fee is: $1,500.

- The NAPCRG Annual Meeting is the premier meeting for primary care researchers with more than 800 oral presentations, posters, workshops and forums. CME credit is available.
- The Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN) Conference brings together PBRN researchers from the US, Canada, and many other nations to come together to share strategies, methods, and results.
- Participate in a Special Interest Group (SIG). Each SIG has its own community site used for communication, networking, and sharing documents among its members. Each year at the NAPCRG Annual Meeting, SIGs have an opportunity to meet and network face-to-face during SIG breakfast sessions.

The Trainee Program aims to cultivate a nurturing learning environment for all students, residents and fellows in the field of primary care research. The program has several components with the cumulative objective to create more involvement, community and resources for NAPCRG trainee members, including travel stipends for trainee members to attend the NAPCRG Annual Meeting.
