Annual Meeting Pre-Conference Workshops
Pre-Conference Workshops are half day or full day sessions, including breaks and group activites. As a pre-conference workshop presenter, you are responsible for leading and moderating your session.
Preparing Your Pre-Conference Workshop
- Use of slides (in.ppt format) is encouraged. For your convenience, download a powerpoint template here!
- If your presentation includes a video or other multimedia, please embed the file into your presentation. This will increase your file size, but links can break preventing the use of your video.
- You are responsible for providing copies of all handouts used for your session.
At the Conference
IMPORTANT: You must bring your presentation with you to the conference on a USB drive. NAPCRG staff will NOT have your presentation available at the conference.
A laptop computer and projector are provided in your assigned breakout room for use during your presentation.
Annual Meeting Forums
All forums are presented within a three-hour period, including breaks and group activities, in assigned breakout rooms of the conference convention center. As a forum presenter, you are responsible for leading and moderating your session.

Annual Meeting Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are presented consecutively within a designated block of time (usually 60 to 90 minutes) in assigned breakout rooms of the conference convention center. Sessions are moderated to ensure all presenters get an equal amount of time.
Preparing Your Oral Presentations
As an oral presenter, you have up to 15 minutes to share and discuss your research. We recommend you structure your presentation as follows:
- 8-10 minutes for presentation
- 3-4 minutes for Q&A

Annual Meeting Posters
The following information applies to all types of poster presentations at the 52nd Annual Meeting. This includes completed research, in-progress research and those accepted in the students, residents and, fellows categories.
There are multiple poster sessions during the conference. Each poster is displayed during a single designated session date and time in 200AB.
Important Reminders for All Poster Presenters
- Due to strict CME guidelines, no marketing or sales of any kind are allowed during your poster presentation.
- The conference does NOT provide audio/visual equipment or electricity for poster presentations. Wireless Internet is available in the poster hall.
- NAPCRG will provide (1) poster board per poster presentation, velcro dots for mounting and poster numbers.
- Your poster should be no larger than 88" wide x 37" tall. Please print your poster in horizontal/landscape orientation.
- NAPCRG staff cannot assume responsibility for any posters. You are responsible for transporting your poster to and from the conference. You are also responsible for setting up, taking down and storing your own posters.

At the Conference
Your poster number (ex. P001, P002, etc.) will indicate where you hang your poster at the Annual Meeting. Velcro dots will be provided to attach your poster to the display board. As a poster presenter, you are expected to stand with your poster during your assigned poster session to discuss your research and answer questions from those touring the poster hall.
Poster Set up: Please set up your poster during the appropriate time below:
- Poster Session I (11/21): Before 9am
- Poster Session II (11/22): Before 6:45am
- Poster Session III (11/23): Before 1:00 pm
- Poster Session IV (11/23): Between 4:15pm-5:00pm
Please note, there are two poster sessions on Saturday, November 23rd. If your poster is in Poster Session IV, you will not be able to set up your poster until after 4:15 pm.
Poster Tear Down: Please take your poster down immediately after your poster session to allow the next group of poster presenters to set up.
Poster Shipping Instructions
The Québec City Convention Center does not have a printing center onsite. Every presenter will need to ship or travel with their poster to their hotel. Shipping instructions for the two conference hotels are listed below. Please DO NOT ship your poster or any other materials directly to the Quebec City Convention Center.
